    Jay Hong believing can lead us to proving. but proving is to prove smth, not to fortify believing.

    Hyeong Cheol Kim noteworthy, not to fortify. I think we shouldn't underestimate what we saw and experienced. we have to make an effort to prove these. Becuz that's not a thing unchangeable.

    Jay Hong we've seen and experienced? that's a start. those experiences can be manipulated so easily w/o notice. that's y i don't give a crap about believing things in clinical activity. what's ebm anyway. in my term, ebm proves that we ain't wrong FOR NOW. ofcource we need to act now, which should've begun a damn long time ago.

EBM을 어렵게 생각하지 말자. 간혹 EBM을 기전의 규명과도 같은 너무 거창한 것으로 착각하고 가까이 갈 생각을 못하는 경우도 있더구만.

EBM은 의학이 갖는 특수성때문에 발전하게 되었다. 의학계에서는 1990년대 초반 쯤부터 대두된 개념이다. 즉, 오래 전 이야기가 아니다. 다만, 기반이 되는 평가지수, 연구방법론, 모델링 등등이 갖춰져 있거나 잘 차용되어 짧은 기간 동안에 눈부시게 발전한 것일 뿐.

의학은 ambiguity와의 싸움이다. 즉, EBM이 지향하는 바는 최선의 예측 가능한 진단과 치료, 예후의 확보라 하겠다. 우리는 의학연구방법론에 대한 진지한 고찰이 부족한 채 EBM이 적용된다 안된다를 논하고 있는 것일 수 있다. 

"의학연구방법론, 안윤옥, 서울대학교 출판부" 이 책 틈나면 한번 읽어보는 걸 추천.
